SEEKING HIM NOW (Confession and prayer Part7)

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4

* Ask the Lord to show all that which we love that in the world. To Show were we have be friend the world. * LET us REPENT.. Of our love we may have for the world. What area do you struggle with? What areas do you enjoy?

* Food? Movies? Dress? TV? Sleep? World thinking?” The work of the Holy Spirit is to manifest the active presence of God in the world, and especially in the Church” Wayne GrudenDo we rejoice at our great privilege of being able to be in Gods presence?

* What is our view of Gods presence? How is it biblical or non biblical?“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,” Rom 8:15-16“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8* How can we draw near?
* what are ways you lack in drawing near to God?

* what things are keeping this from happening and why?“ I have not come to do my own will but that of the father” John 6:38

* are we seeking for Gods will to be done in our lives?John 5:19So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.John 5:30I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.
* what things do I think I can do without God? Or what I am doing in my own will? John 8:28So Jesus said to them, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.John 14:10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.“ Jesus emptied Himself of His divine prerogatives as eternal deity and became a servant so that God might be all” His life was one of absolute submission, trust, and dependence on the Father”
* Do I seek Gods will in all we do?
* May I repent of not fully trusting and surrendering our lives to Christ.
* May I repent of own desires, goals, motives.
“Your kingdom your will be done” on earth and in our lives..Understand fully what he will is..?Confession
* Do I speak about others who are in Church or at work?
* I am Open with time and home?*Who do I rely on? On God or jobs?
Our husbands or wives?
Or Churches? Or friends?
*Who do I call to when trouble comes?
God or people? What is My trust in God?
*What do I value in my life? How much time do I give for God?
* Then how much Time with other things, I enjoy?
*Such computer,
*sermons,
*family,
*eating,
*friends.
* Selfishness, thinking of self before others?

* what lovers do we have?
“ I called to my lovers but they deceived me”

It’s a great response to his Lordship, leadership, and the authority of His word and ways.”“ When we choose to humble ourselves, we deal with the very core of our sinful nature. Then we are in the place where God’s grace and mercy can be poured out on us.”Do we depended upon our strength? If what are ways we do so?“ Help me to understand, that I must decrease so that You can increase in me.”

SEEKING HIM NOW (Confession and prayer Part4)

“Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning, 36and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.” Luke 12:35-37 Today there are many Pastors in America that are not teaching the whole Word of GodThere many whom are watered out and preaching a different GospelWe are not to add or take away in doing so it no longer is the GospelThere is a great need for old Gospel to be preached again. Lots of mans centered thoughts and ideas have come in to our Churches. Thousands in America think they are saved because they said a prayer once in there life. Let us pray for Strong leaders.

*“Men who will stand before His face and hear His voice daily,

*Men who have no desire in their heart for anyone or anything other than God Himself,

*Men who fear Him so greatly that they hate sin in every form and love righteousness and truth in all their ways,

*Men who have overcome anger and sexually sinful thoughts, and who would rather die than sin even in thought or attitude, Zac PoonenMay God show us where we are fearful of Man.. And haven’t shared our faith..Let be that when we “open up our mouths we would fearful and boldly make known the Gospel”Let our heart be so Joyed in Christ that we will be unstoppable. Some thing inside of my heart tells me that there is a holy city, a new Jerusalem, and that the promises of God are true. John says, I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. And he heard a loud voice from the thorn saying, “ Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, or morning, or crying, or pain, for the old Order of things has passed away. God said that I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He that over comes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he we be my son. Rev 21:1-7. He told his daugther" I have nothing to leave you" I given most away. You a guy told I would die a rich man. Has it come true? Oh hear this my riches are in knowing Christ"My riches. When I was a young man, a prophesy was given to me, I was to be very wealthy in last years of my life. Now at 52, the only thing I have is, years of shattered relationships, filled with betrayal, and unfilled goals. I have sold my house and the land, my wind generators, solar panels, tools, guns, vehicles, and almost all of my earthly belongings. My body is filled with this cancer, and one may think, what happened to the prophesy given to me so many years ago. Now be of good cheer, for, my heart is over joyed with the wonderful promises of God. I must say, that indeed I’m now richer than I ever had dreamed of. Our God is perfect, and cannot lie. My riches that I have, call me, write me, and pray for me, they are my friends, sent to me by all mighty God himself. Never have I seen such riches, and. But most I have gotten to know my King, My God. Its value is worth more than I could even afford. I have only God to thank, he sees me, cares for me, and dearly loves me, and he shows me this, in a special friend like you. For the world is filled with people, looking to become rich. It seems I was looking for other riches, but God is going to let me die the riches man. Here is my two children by my side. I am loved.

one layer at atime Part17 (Story of dad

for a whole year they lived together, each day a layer of flesh was pilled away. His daughter had fought for years to get him to stop drinking. Wasn't God able she thought .But was he willing yield to Christ? The day came she said " God I will love him and accept this, I will honor as my father even if ever stops. God only you can change him. a week later her father came to her, I going to stop drinking. But this time I am going to God. God can keep from this. and he never drank until he died. He was on who loved to sit in the sun and work with his hands. If when he couldn't walk much he would go outside and sit in sun. But the day came when he got a hospital bed, more and more he rested in bed. This was when her father started to write letters.he called her in, listen to this what do you think?Jesus called out from among the crowd, for off in a distance was a blind man. The scriptures tell us that it was Bartimaeus, a blind beggar placed on the side of road. Maybe he was nobody of any importance, no worldly wealth, not a educated man and surly no one need listen to him, just a blind beggar. And as he sat there alone, in a world of darkness, a world despair, a world filled with broken promises, it was then he heard that it was Jesus that was coming his way. His world had left him blind and empty, but the thought of calling out to the son of David gave him hope. And he cried out, and made himself such a rucks so all could hear, and Jesus the son of the living God stopped and called out to him, and told him to simply come. As we fight with lives daily affairs, its easy to become so wrapped up, and to forget about the words of our savorier. To simply drop everything and just come. When I was young I would listen to my friends talk about the meaning of life. Very few of us really seemed to know anything and found our selves struggling with life problems. Little did I know about Gods gift towards mankind and that his only son, Jesus died so many years ago on the cross at calvary. His death and his resurrection brought a new hope and a new reunion with God. For life is a gift, a wonderful gift, and we all were created by a touch of the master hand. God redeemed his creation by sacrificing his only son, for the sins of mankind. We have been set free, longer subject to the conditions of bondage. Look no longer to worries of this world, but towards Jesus. Cast your doubts, your scattered relationships, your addictions, your fears ,and your broken hearts on him. Jesus is faithful to forgive us of our sins, if will simply come to him. Blind Bartimaeus cried out, and the son of a living God, the one that hung stars in the heavens above, stopped, and told him to come. When Bartimaeus heard the voice of Jesus, and the commandment to come, he dropped anything and ran towards his salivation, for he was still blind, but he did not need his eyes to guide him to the lamb of God. We all need the boldness that Bartimaeus had. He had not seen any of the miracles done by Jesus, but yet he responded with faith from the words he had heard. We all must over come our fears, and our doubts, and take that step to call on him. As I sit in my wheelchair, I wait to hear the voice of my master, and on great and wonderful day, all my struggles, all the sickness, all the worries, all the cares of this world will be forever left behind. I will leave this wheelchair, and start running towards my risen savorer, the King of Kings & Lord of Lords. Jesus said come to me, all of you that are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I ’am humble and gentle to your heart, and you will find rest in your souls. Matthew 11:28. Now rejoice my bothers and sisters for, soon and very soon, we are all going to see the King. Listen with your hearts, and fill your souls & minds with his holy words, and as you lay down lives daily struggles, take up his yoke, and find rest for your souls in the words of almighty God. I declare to you, that if you will simply call out on the name of Jesus, then the God that creator heaven and earth will stop and hear your cries. It did not matter what the crowds thought, for Bartimaeus had appointment with the living God. Lift up your hands and yours hearts this day and you will hear, Jesus saying, if you are in need of comfort, in need of a new life, a need of rest, then simply come to me.. Your brother in Christ...

Can I change? Part 16 (Story of dad

Now that all three live in the same home they had some fights, Lots of pride to broken down. They might of had good moments. There was time that flesh won. When their tongues where as though they were set on fire by hell. They were not building up by tearing down. They yell out saying things they never thought they would say. There emotions battled, they didn't wanted to be broken, did they dear to be humbled? Again and again they acted out of anger and not love. One day her and father were fighting. Stop she yelled, Stop stop talking to me. You can't stop us they yelled back. Their anger was building up. They wanted their point to be made. She was boiling inside. She yelled out with the most wicked words. and ran off to her room. There she talked with God. I will not say I am sorry. Didn't hear what he said. He hurt me. But deep inside she knew need to say she was sorry. Then it hit her, why I am not really sorry? Why I am not weeping over this sin? I need to be humble, Help me lord to love this man. He says things that upset me, how can I let go? after hours of fighting with her own flesh she finally came out to say she was sorry. She saw at that time, her prayer was to pray to hate this sin, of her words to her father. That she could use them to honor him and lift him up. But what a battle we face, with our flesh, how we want to do this, but do the other things. It was a growing to put to death the flesh. It was walk of falling and getting back up. She poured out her can I change, can you bring deep true repentances in my heart?

A little Girl Part 16 ( Story about dad

come and sit down I have a story to tell you..she came and sat to listen you said to me.. “I am hungry; what is there to eat? I can’t reach the water; can you help me please?”, Abby asked. She scampers through the kitchen looking for something. She heard a yelling voice, “You are eating again!” “Yes, I am hungry.”“Ok, but you make sure you clean up your mess.”“Ok, I will. You know you told me that already.”“I know, but you forget.”“No I don’t. I always clean up after myself”, she said. “No you don’t.”“Yes I do.”She could hear the blaring of the evening news, Good Evening Arizona. They ramble on. She set to the task of getting food, because she was so hungry. She put in the meat in to heat up as she ate salad. She was told that she was so weird to eat so many greens. She turned the burner to hi. It began to burn and smoke filled the room. The voice was back.“Not again Abby! Every night you smoke up the house! You got to stop this. We are not delighted with the brunt smell!”“I am sorry,” she said.“Don’t cook any more.”But I am hungry. I have to eat. They just don’t understand how eating right helps me feel good, she thought. Forgiveness was made and good nights said. “I love you,” she yelled, “and Jesus loves you! You know what?”, she said as she peeked her head through the door, “I love you.” Then she closed the door and peeked out again. “You know?” He said with a smile, “Yes, Jesus loves you and you know I love you too.” She walked away proud of herself. It was so simple, she thought. I am going to tell him everyday that Jesus loves him. Then it will help him remember how much He does. Dear Lord, help my daddy know you love Him. Thanks for loving me. She closed her eyes and fell fast asleep. She woke up the next day eager to start. She ran to the window and said, “Daddy, is Jesus coming today? I sure would love to see him.” She pointed to him. “Daddy what do you think heaven will be like?” With a still, stern face he answered, “Dear child I don’t know. Bur I’ll tell you one thing,” he said with a great big smile, “there will be good food because we dine with the Lord.” This delighted her! “Oh Daddy! You know how much I love food!” Then she began to ramble on about all different kinds that might be there. He stopped her and said, “Addy?”“Yes dad?” “You know what the best part of heaven will be?” “What daddy, what?” “It is being with Jesus.”“He must be pretty fun to play with! Oh, and do you think he will ride a bike with me? I do that with my beast friends. And do you think he will eat ice cream? Jesus is going to be the best friend ever! I want to see him now! When is he coming?” “I don’t know, no one knows. It says he come any day.” “Wow! Any day? Why not today?” “Well get ready for school now, ok? “Ok, I will.”

Heaven awaits Part 15 ( Story about dad

As she sat with father he thought back to the time when God had gotten a hold of him..he turned to his daughter and said.." Heaven AwaitsPraise be to God, for each day we draw closer to victory. Eternity is forever, and soon the cares of this world will behind us. I rember one night as I lay in bed, my body sick from this ugly cancer, I spilled away, their I was, standing in front of God, I awoke and yelled out, there is a God. I was indeed shaken, was it a dream, was it a vison, was it Jesus. What I saw I can not even began to understand, but yet my sprit rejoices. Rev 21:1-7.wow dad she said when did this happen? Hw looked at her just a week ago. I do look forward to heaven, what a wonderful thought.she saida tears came from his eyes. He always started with you know I loved your mom. Let me tell how we met. It seems there was part of him that had ever let it go. Bitterness still ate at his soul. As a tears would come to his eyes as the pain was brought up again. Then a smile as retold his story. There I was high on weed, just taken a car " It was on a Sunday night that I first stepped into Victory Chapel. That was April 24 1977, and a revival was taking place. I sat back and listenedas John Vaner preached about the love of Jesus. That night I surrender my life and my heart to Jesus. The sprit of God was alive in the place, and soon I also became caught up in that revival, for it was alive in the hearts and the lives of everybody there. In a little church on 1829 N. East St. Jesus touched my life, I would never be the same." I kept getting high and takeing things. That's when I met your mom. I had gone a Church get together at the park when I saw her. I ask her out. She said she would cook for me. When I went over, she made the worse food ever. anyways, I ask her to marry me. she was 19 years old. We called her mother to tell her the news. She was so mad and sick at the thought of her daughter marry me. She didn't like me from day one. I gave your mother a ring I had taken." Although we were in Church they guided us in the wrong way, and soon were parted. He was sadden by hurt and pain that was caused through the Church. and their own foolish ways She had left him and remarried. She had a child while still married with him. he said you know I forgive her. I just can't let it go. I loved her. Maybe I should have her come here and make things right, it has been 10 years. I should settle all things before I die. Then he said you know I am sorry to for not being there for you. For caring more about me then my family. I just care about my beer. Thats ok dad. I forgive you. For a couple of hours the talked of the bitter past. Sometimesbring things to the light bring healing. they huged and and cried and said they loved each other. As although they hadn't huged in years with such love and forgivness towards each other. Now he said let me tell two story no three that happen many years ago..

Driving Part 7 ( Story..

As she was driving home she thought the day she drove at and first heard of this news. Of her father having cancer. It finally had gripped her as she had woke up from the dream, as she now faced losing her father once again. But it was different as she faced the bitter past and daunting future. He had called her just a few days ago, asking her to come out. Now facing the facts of the death report.. Recalling the broken promises and words with without action, the lack trust. She wouldn’t believe unless she saw the papers. With little trust she had pushed him away for 6months.I guess some we have to it face it she thought. It was around 5pm when they set off, her and phil, “are you sure he is telling the truth are you sure?, he said. I am not sure, he said he went to the Dr and had the test report to show me. In fear she spoke I just don’t know. She look out the window few words were spoken for who knew what lay ahead. I am willing to forgive was what she was faced with that as walked in the room. They walked, small talk was made, then he handed the papers to her. She held back the tears as she saw the proof that she demanded, and the room was still as the truth came crashing down. I she her good by as she got into the car she was flighting the tears, guilt and shame filled her heart. God whispered let go it now time to love this man. She said Lord how will I never respect and really love him. She wept and wept the whole way home. She knew had no other choice but to give her heart to love him, which in return she would love to respect him. She wept at how hard it seemed. I do want to do this. But how is so hard, This mad gets me so mad. But whole way home wept at this trail that faced her. You must go and care for him, she was to obey. As she drove home, she thought what seemed impossible, could be possible with God. Though still many more layers needed to be removed God was doing his humbling work. It was an amazement to her that she was starting to enjoy being with her father. Although he would make her mad. She remember that day of many tears when her and father forgave each other all the pain in the past.

Praise to God Part 6 ( Story..

The next day his daughter woke up half sleep, she struggle out of her bed to begane another day with her father. She quickly turned the burner on in my small 17 foot trailer where her only heat came from these two little burners. When they frist get out of bed the bitter cold air makes gose bumps run down her arms and her legs. Not every morning is as this one, maybe it was all the rain the night before. So she strike the match and light the burner. They pulled out my Bible and reads, then she walked out, went for her slow jog prayer run. So they went inside and outside kitcen which had the camping stove were they made their food. He broke the eggs and put them in the pan then He took them, putting them in the flour tortilla, then him and his daughter ate. He then started the wood stove so they took their food and ate around it to keep warm. Then I his daughter went to do the dishes which she had to pump the water, with the green pump just like the old days. After I she sat down. He look at her in the eyes and said you know I thank God I have this cancer, yep I do because it enabled me to see God, it is better to have cancer and die and die and go to hell, then me good , I met some some friends, you ever know how long God will keep me here. Yep your right I think it might do some good. So would you like to driveto black ranch road with me? he ask her Sure I would like to, so once again they took the 5 mile trip down the dirt road. As they were driving she looked over and couldn't help but praise God, it was amazing thing he was still here, she had thought that God was going to take him home, but it seemed once again his timing was giving him more time. Before the weekend was up, they sat down to play a card game. Note the night before and actually every time she won, also the night before her father said I have been praying, that day the pastor said to the men wouldn it be great if your children walk in and see you praying,It was then time for her leave, So he walked her to her car which he did every time. I love you he said as she drove off, Their was sorrow in both of their hearts, But soon again she would back.

Awankened Part5 (story..

So there I was laying in my bed. I was sleeping when I heard a voice. I was shaken from a sound sleep. There at the end my bed stood a tall Black African in all his warrior dress, he was holding a spear in his hand. I rolled over to wake your mother, she sat up and saw this too.I don't what he was saying, all knew me and your mother was to go to Africa, but she have nothing to do with. So now I wonder if you are to in my place.

can He use a man who drinks? Part4 ( story..

Can God use a man who is drunk? She thought as they were driving down the dirt road. They were on their daily beer run. As they got there he slowly got out and walked in with a huge smile. He greeted everyone and talked with them. It didn't matter where he was he quickly made friends. He wasn't shy to talk about God, and he would if given the chance.ALways saying I have faith in God to get me through. God is with me. But the questioned was answered can God use this man even when he was drinking? God still used him in many lives around him. It was his simple heart loving his God the only way he knew. He not yet seen the wrong is drinking. That evening before bed. He said to his daughter come here I have something to tell you. I know that my life has had little impact for Christ for in the last 10 years due to my drinking. You know I always wanted to go to Africa. maybe it was for you to go. I have faith I love God. I will do what I can with what I know. As though a fire was started within his heart for God. His passion renewed and new desires. Let me tell you a story of when I was young, when I thought about this vision of AfricaCome and sit and listen.

Bitter Beer Part3 ( Story..

Bitter beer. There are things that take us, and enslaves us. Just as Pual said I want to do good, but I can't. This the pattern of his life. He tride with all he had, but in the end he failed. What was keeping from winning? His daughter couldn't seem to repect a man who drank his life away. The seed of bitterness can eat away at your bones. But forgivness bring new life. He was now known for he need for beer, his couldn;t stop without withdraw sickness. These cans of beer ruled part of his life. He couldn't bring him self to accpet this promble. He was blined to harm it was causing. He wrapped in his own desire of that beer. Although it might have started as a pleasure it truned into a need. His daughter prayed and prayed. She agrued and begged. There monemts of joy, when washed up and stoped. But then he would start again. How can we hate something and not hate the person? It was hard for his daughter to not take her hate for beer out on him

Part 2 Story...

The things that happened were only possible because God poured his grace on them. The Dr had reported that her father had only 2 months to live. She was preparing for him die. But he kept living month after month. The DR timing was way off. Who could put a number on someone days anyways? Only God can do that. She was on edge not knowing what to do or when he would die. She was in school full time, she started driving out to his house which was two hours away. He was living in middle of no where. No power , no running water. In the middle of desert. Her father had was a fighter, and fought the canser to the end. Every weekend that she could she would drive out there to see him. Although she love this man, she didn’t like him. It would take 12months, to come to place of liking and enjoying him. Seeing it a joy and huge blessing. His breath was always that of beer. Her blood boiled with the hate for beer. How foolish he was, when he drank. He rather chose the beer over living for his children. He wouldn't the treaments, he would have to stop drinking. Bitterness raged in her heart. Doubt of his love enter in her mind. Although these times were difficult they brought much growth, for both of them. They would fight back and froth, on topics of God. Although he would deny what she said, the conversations began to make an impact into his life. He knew what was right but he was still held captive to the beer. They batted truth, working out why they believed what they believed. Then one weekend far from home, he had been staying with a friend. When she got a call at 2amPlease come and get me I am very sick. He got into her car, and she took him home. On the way home, he told her. How he thought he was going to die. He couldn’t breath anymore was getting dark. He said “ I turn around and said God I will live for you.” He knew his life was meant for God. He was shook up. Everyday after is whole vision purpose changed. He tried again and again to stop drinking, but failed. Each weekend he grow more they grow more passionate about God. They even went to Church here and there. But still again and again he was held under rule of his beer. She couldn’t find her self to look pass this bitter heart towards the beer. She tried to change him, to stop,, she get anger and upset. It every time it only brought bitterness and more fighting. She thought will never stop? What he if never stops, can I still love him he drinks his life away?He often stop and help any one he could. He wasn’t one to hold back those in need if he could give. He was a poor man, but rich in simple faith he was growing in. He would offer his shoes if you needed them. It was said that when he was young right after Christmas, he just gotten new boots. When they walking he saw a man with none. He took them off and gave them to him. He told his daughter do what I couldn’t do. Go where I am not able to. I see now that living for God is the only way. Preach Christ don’t give up. But still he got drunkeach night. He said that the pain from the cancer was so bad, he rather drink it way. God was pressing hard and apply heat to make him in a treasured jewel.
